P.S. GIFFORD is the author of Curiously Twisted Tales and Dr. Offig’s Lessons from the Dark Side for Barking Rain Press. Born in Birmingham, England, Mr. Gifford was transplanted to sunny California as a teenager. Like Dorothy forsaking the somber gray world of Kansas for the endless sunshine of vibrant Oz, the shock to his system during this volatile stage of development proved to have a lasting impact. He found an outlet for his newfound serenity by writing surprisingly twisted horror yarns that reveal the sinister side of completely ordinary people and situations with cheeky relish.
His horror novels also include The Curious Accounts of the Imaginary Friend and The Further Accounts of the Imaginary Friend. Mr. Gifford’s short stories, poems and articles have been published in various anthologies, magazines and books over the years. A member of the Horror Writers Association, Mr. Gifford enjoys lurking about horror conventions and bookstore signings with his sidekick, Bob, or hanging out at home with his two beloved dogs—Sir Winston and Chester O’Reilly, who are a constant source of joy, support and inspiration..
